DAY 1: YOUR COUNTRY - MARRAKECH

Upon arrival, we will be picked up to move to our hotel located in the medina of Marrakech. Rest of the day free to begin to discover the mysteries that surrounds the well-known one like "the Red city".

 

 

DAY 2: MARRAKECH-TELOUET-AGDZ-PALMERAL DEL DRAA

At 08:00, departure to the south with the 4x4, in the direction of Ouarzazate, passing through Tiz'n'Tichka (or port of Tichka), the highest road stop in Morocco, where we will enjoy some incredible landscapes. After passing the port of Tichka we will turn towards the interior of the Atlas to visit the famous Kasbah of Telouet or Kasbah de Glaoui, former palace of the mythical El Hadj Thami El Mezouari el Glaoui, known as the Lord of the Atlas. We will continue our way through the Atlas mountains following one of the most beautiful routes in Morocco which will lead us through spectacular landscapes full of ancient Kasbah, to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, one of the largest and best preserved in Morocco declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO and place of numerous films. We will leave Ouarzazate behind to reach Agdz, the city where the magnificent Draa Valley begins. At this point we will enter the incomparable Palmeral de Draa, one of the largest palm groves in Africa, to look for the lovely place where we will spend the night, next to the longest river in Morocco, the oued Draa. DAY 3: PALMERAL DEL DRAA-ALNIF- STRAIT OF MAHARCH-OUZINA

After having breakfast on the banks of the Draa river, we will leave, around 10 in the morning, to continue our way south. We will take the road to Alnif, crossing the endless desert steppe of southern Morocco until we reach Oum Jrane, where we will leave the cart to take the track that will lead us to the incomparable Strait of Maharch. Along the way we will cross rivers of sand, Berber villages, endless jamadas ..., until we reach the dunes of Ouzina where after having a tea we will go to the camp of haimas, inside the dunes of Ouzina, where we will spend the night.

We will contemplate a sunset that we will never forget, Dinner and accommodation Ouzina Kasbah.

 

 

DAY 4: OUZINA-MERZOUGA-TINEJDAD

Today it's time to get up early to enjoy a unique experience: contemplate the majestic sunrise in the desert, a spectacle of light and silence that will impress us. After dawn we will go down again to the hotel where, whichever wishes it, it will be able to clean up. After breakfast and again with our 4x4 we will go to visit the town of Khamilia, known as the town of the blacks, inhabited by descendants of the former slaves from sub-Saharan Africa, who will offer us a sample of their culture while we taste a delicious tea. After the visit we will continue to Merzouga, a small settlement located at the foot of the red sand dunes of the Erg Chebbi. We will leave Merzouga and the dunes of the Erg Chebbi to head north and meet Rissani small town with a bustling medina not frequented by tourists, where they come to supply the nomads of the area. After walking through this medina, in contrast much quieter than the one in Marrakech, and after visiting its peculiar donkey car park we will continue our journey until we reach Tinejdad, where we will enjoy a unique experience: sleeping in an authentic 19th century Ksaar, the Khorbat. The Khorbat is an authentic rehabilitated Ksar within a plan of recovery of the Ksaar and Kasbah that mark the south of Morocco, in the well-known "route of the 1000 kasbah". After occupying our rooms we can see its interesting and unique museum: "the Museum of the Oasis" that shows us the history and way of life of the Berber tribes, an experience that will allow us to discover the way of life, organization and culture of this nomadic tribe and familiarize ourselves with this type of construction. DAY 5: TINEJDAD-GARGANTAS DEL TODRA-OUARZAZATE

Breakfast and departure to Tinerhir, with a beautiful panorama of contrasts between its pink houses and green palms and ideal starting point to enter the famous Gorges of Todra, where we can stop to enjoy the landscape formed by vertical walls of up to 200 meters height. Later we will continue, crossing the Valley of the Dades and the Valley of the Roses, until arriving at Ouarzazate, where we will stop to visit its known Kasbah, the Kasbah of Taourirt. After the visit we will leave Ouarzazate to go to an old acquaintance: the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, where a little surprise awaits us since we will sleep inside it, in a small and cozy hotel, a luxury. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 6: AIT BEN HADDOU-TAROUDANT-ESSAOUIRA

We will have breakfast and we will leave towards Taroudant, a small and charming city, mixture of oasis and fortress known by some as the "little Marrakech" for its reddish color and similarity with the Imperial city. From there we will continue our way through the mountains and after passing Agadir we will reach the Atlantic Pearl, the beautiful and enigmatic Essaouira, known in its origins as Mogador, a beautiful fortified fishing village, former Portuguese colony located on the beaches of the Atlantic, that will surprise us contrates mix of the various peoples who have gone through it. accommodation

 

 

 

DAY 7: ESSAOUIRA-MARRAKECH

Breakfast and free time to take a refreshing swim in the deserted beaches of Essaouira, visit the fortress, the souk or to enjoy an exquisite meal of grilled fish in the beach bars located behind the fish market. At the time agreed on mid-afternoon, we will leave for Marrakech, crossing the forests of Arganos located between the two cities, where we will stop to meet one of the cooperatives, exclusively female, where they process the fruit of the Argan to obtain oil or the "savon noir" Appreciated soap with great cosmetic properties. We will arrive in Marrakech where we will stay in our riad and we will be able to say goodbye to the one who has been our companion in the last days, our driver / guide. accommodation

 

 

 

DAY 8: MARRAKECH-YOUR COUNTRY

Breakfast. Free time to have a tea or finish the last purchases until the agreed time. They will pick us up to take us to the airport and take the flight back to home.
